Here are five things I am loving and doing this week:
I am excited for the Chinese New Year Parade on Saturday night (6-8PM), cross your fingers for no rain and we are headed out to see it in person. For more details on the parade, check out the official website here.
What’s for dinner? It’s a perpetual question. I am tired of cooking the same thing over and over, so tried a few new recipes this week, check them out:
Jenny Mustard: Maximal Life for the Minimalist : She has a dry funny sense of humor and a beautiful minimalist style.
If you know me, you know I love a good self help book and have been obsessively reading parenting books over the past 3 years (check out my favorites here ). Here is the latest on my bedstand. It has some great reminders about better understanding your child and really listening to them (stuff you might already know if you have read other parenting books, but often forget in the day-to-day of parenting).
The Camera Obscura at Land’s End. The camera obscura is a camera that produces 360 degrees of spectacular Live Images of the Seal Rock Area. It is super cool, I can’t believe I never knew about it before.
Check out the “photo” of of Ocean Beach & the Cliff House on the disc in front of Mr. H and Tater Tot. INCREDIBLE!
That’s it for us this week. What are you up to? What have you been doing and loving?
